Today, I will be doing Practical 3. I will be tasked to study the internet resources that I have retrieved previously from Practical 2. Finally, I will need to identify the purpose of any FOUR resources and explain my answers by listing the reasons below:

Reasons :

• It is classified as a forum whereby it shares information and comments with other users.
• Through the online discussion they can talk about the trends of the musical taste among the teenagers.

Purpose of resources: Business

Reasons:

• It conducts surveys to check for youth music trends and according to feedback, it computes a marketing statistics for the company to use it for references.
• It has advertisements that promote different kinds of trends. Eg, Ranging from mobile to music trends.

Purpose of resource : Entertainment

Reasons :

• It showcases the latest music charts. Favorite/ Popular artists, movie reviews and also free music downloads.
• It has the featured release albums. The advertisements are often big and colorful to attract users to purchase them online.
• In addition, the website has other advertisements not linked to music. But other kinds of entertainment advertisements like Levis.

Purpose of resource : Information

Reasons :

• Consists of details on 20th century music. It explains on how music evolves and talks about the latest music trend among teenagers.
• Gives a detailed and the text is rich.
• It has topic that defines the latest music trend such as hip hop, rap and punk pop.

FIRST blog in my 18 years of life

Hi guys. First of all let me give a brief introduction of myself..

My name is Ng Junjie from Temasek Polytechnic.
I am 18 years old and currently I am studying Mobile and Wireless Computing.

This is the FIRST blog of my entire life and I must admit that I am quite new to all these stuff. Hopefully, at the end, I can make a good blog for UIR.
